The Knysna Lagoon offers a wide variety of activities to cater for everyone. Watersports include fishing, sailing, yachting, water-skiing, kayaking and windsurfing. Ferries make frequent trips around the lagoon and you can enjoy spectacular sunsets over sundowners.

Knysna is a foodie haven with at least 50 restaurants to choose from, catering for a wide variety of tastes and budgets. Fresh oysters are a speciality of the town and on a hot summer evening visitors often head to the Waterfont to enjoy the oysters with a good glass of wine or an ice-cold beer.
