The Wilderness National Park is a 2500 hectare wilderness area and home to 5 lakes, 2 estuaries and 18 kilometres (11.2 miles) of sparkling Southern Cape coastline. The Wilderness National Park is surrounded by a national lake area, a sensitive area inhabiting a myriad of waterbirds, including the Knysna Loerie.
